Çağ University

Çağ University is a Foundation University founded by Bayboğan Education Foundation under the leadership of President Yaşar Bayboğan on July 09, 1997. Çağ University is the first foundation university in the Mediterranean Region. Upon the death of Yaşar Bayboğan in 2011, Lütfi Musa Bayboğan continues the Presidency.

Although the university campus is within the borders of Mersin province; actually 31 km from Adana and 67 km from Mersin. The university is located in Yenice town of Tarsus. The 470,000 square meter campus is located in the north of the Taurus Mountains and in the south is the Mediterranean. The university has 3 faculties, vocational schools, and social sciences institutes. The language of instruction of Çağ University, which has about 5000 students, is English (except vocational school). The university offers a second foreign language as an option. Free shuttle service is available for students and lecturers.
