Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ)

Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ for short), or Yıldırım Beyazıt University (YBÜ for short), is the fifth state university of Ankara. Dated 27 July 2008 and dated 21 July 2010, In accordance with the decision published in the Official Gazette, it was established with 7 faculties, 1 college and 4 institutes and 1 conservatory, and started to admit students in the 2011-2012 academic year.

In the 2011-2012 academic year, the Faculty of Medicine, Law, Political Sciences and Engineering, and Natural Sciences Faculties and the Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing departments started to recruit students.

The university, which was entitled to receive the Erasmus Declaration in the first year of its establishment, has signed cooperation protocols with more than 100 international universities including universities such as Florida University, San Antonio Texas University, Sterling University, Chester University, Han Yang University, Maxim Gorky Institute.

Nearly one million printed publications were collected in the ICU Printed Publication Center and made available to researchers and students.
