Turkey's first and only State University of Social Sciences Area

ASB was established in 2013 in the center of the capital in order to pioneer research in the social sciences, which is Turkey's first and only state university. ASB both for research both at the international level not only within Turkey with undergraduate and graduate programs, but it also aims to play an active role. Numerous research and application centers within the body of ASBU operate for this purpose.

Research in ASBU does not have the understanding of transferring information produced in the West with small contributions; It is based on the production of information that will contribute to the creation of unique solutions for social, human, administrative, political, commercial, and industrial problems at the local level. For this reason, ASBU works with structuring in the focus of research centers, as in the leading research universities in the world.

ASBU is not a campus university outside of the city, it is a city university intertwined with society, the natural laboratory of social sciences, that penetrates the texture and veins of the city. Being a city university gives ASBU the opportunity to integrate with society and examine the dynamic structure of society.

Attaching importance to multilingualism in education, ASBÜ provides our students with opportunities to improve their language skills. In this context, our Language Center offers its students a quality language education with its local and foreign faculty members who are experts in their fields. The language of instruction is English throughout our programs. ASBU students are not only fluent in English but are especially supported in learning a second foreign language.
