Aksaray University

It is a public university accepted by the Council of Ministers to be established in 2006.
 
With the law numbered 5467 published in the Official Gazette numbered 26111 on March 17, 2006, while affiliated with Niğde University, Aksaray University was established under the structure of faculty and high schools. The Rector is Prof.Dr. Necdet SAĞLAM.
 
At Aksaray University, 4 faculties, 2 colleges and 5 vocational schools offer undergraduate and undergraduate education. Postgraduate education is carried out within the Institute of Science and Social Sciences, affiliated with the university.
 
There are 6923 students in total, 2771 in Faculties, 742 in Higher Schools, 3298 in Vocational High Schools and 112 in Institutes.
 
In terms of academic staff, 6 professors, 8 associate professors, 134 assistant professors, in total 393 teaching staff are employed.
