Kırşehir Ahi Evran University is a public university established in Kırşehir with the law No. 5467 of March 1, 2006. Gazi University of Kırşehir Education Faculty, Kırşehir Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Kırşehir Faculty of Agriculture, Kırşehir School of Health, Kırşehir School of Physical Education and Sports, Kırşehir Vocational School, Kaman Vocational School, Mucur Vocational School and Çiçekdağı Vocational School.

It was established to separate from and change the name and links. The university has 7 existing faculties, 3 institutes, 7 Vocational High Schools, 4 High Schools and 11 Research and Application Centers.
